A hand thrown medium vessel, the interior is coated with a white glaze with a slight hint of blue in the sunlight, contrasting nicely with the warm red clay body. Thrown with a rich warm high iron clay body the iron specks really shine here, bleeding into the clay body to become a lovely speckled look to the glaze. This is one of the medium sized pieces to be included in my shop. Please subscribe to my newsletter if you would like to be notified when I restock the shop.These pots are dishwasher safe and microwave safe, although please take care nothing hits or bashes into the pots as it will cause chipping. Washing by hand is the best and safest option. I personally hand wash all my handmade pottery and have never used them in a microwave oven.The interior of this vessel is also food safe, as it is glazed. Please be mindful of food getting onto the exposed exterior clay body, because as it is not glazed is it porous and food particles can become stuck if proper care is not taken.Please remember this is a handmade and hand thrown piece and each piece is individual with their own variability that make each one of them very delightful indeed.
